Band Assisted Decompression and Chiropractic Care

Band assisted decompression post-workout (there are so many variations, we will talk more about this in the future as we will try to post more as time permits). Band assisted decompression into a flexion component focuses on lengthening the spinal dura and posterior longitudinal ligaments, among other soft tissues and structures running-up the backside of the spinal column.

Anatomy and physiology say this :

  1. Decompressing the discs reduces irritation to sympathetic nerves (linked to our STRESS RESPONSE) this could mean it could potentially be useful to inhibit reflexes like spasms and pain driven by the same nerves as protection mechanisms. DE-LOADING the spine should be as important in your training as loading is to build resilience in your spinal discs and nervous system.
  2. Improves neurological function.
  3. Improves blood flow and healthy nutrient supply to the discs and joints of the spinal column.
